Many people find watching sports inspires them to exercise, while others enjoy the entertainment without feeling the need to get moving.
What about you? Do sports motivate you to stay active? Let’s discuss.

Yes , it is so motivating for me. Most of time, l open youtube to immitate fitness people'moves.

Often, it is possible to get so keyed up just by watching sports. Watching athletes perform makes us feel like we should also engage in an activity, more like a motivation. As we enjoy supporting our favourite athletes, we should also follow their lead and get more active just like them. A sort of bringing dreams into action.

I always find that I'm much more likely to get the urge to go and play football (or soccer for you Americans) if I'm watching or have recently watched a game. I do play a fair bit too so I definitely do get to stay active, but I do sometimes find I get an urge to play if I'm watching a particularly entertaining match and I haven't played for a little while.

Watching sports certainly motivate me a lot. I watch cricket and the game of cricket could be really aggressive sometimes. This aggression could also lead to motivation. However, this actually depends a lot on each and every person. Some people never get motivated at all, no matter what. People should be motivated regardless of whether or not they watch sports.

I have noticed that there are many people who do not get motivated at all. They tend to stay in their comfort zone and there is nothing that can change them, no matter what. So, watching sports may not have a really huge effect in them. Each and every person is responsible for himself or herself. No other person can change you.

That's true if we view it critically. In this context, sports can be very inspiring for some people, though it is not applicable to everyone. Desire and discipline are something that is personal and therefore watching sports can only be an added motivation. In the end, the choice is personal.
