discuss Do You Watch Underground Movies?

This is a thread to discuss anything related to movies.
You have to mention a specific movie that's in line with what you meant by "Underground movies" for us to know exactly what you're referring to because this is my first time of hearing about the term Underground movies.
They are also known as 'avant-garde' films. They are thought-provoking and bizarre. Their themes are seen as off-limits in mainstream cinema. David Lynch is popular for this kind of films. This man has been doing this for over 50 years! His films include Mulholland Drive, The Elephant Man and Wild at Heart.

Thank you for giving more insight to what the OP meant by Underground movies. Yes, I've seen one of them which is considered to be among the modern avant-garde movies. The Lighthouse (2019) was the one I watched.

David Lynch is more of a mainstream movie maker, he has a unique style. Mulholland Drive is one of my favorite movies.

Yeah, the underground movies are a great watch and can definitely compel thought. I think they have peculiar motifs and concepts, which is what makes them very special.
