discuss Do You Prefer to Drive or Be a Passenger?

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
Control I can understand, but how does driving give freedom? Are you actually free when you are in front of the steering wheel?

Maybe what he meant was being free to drive to wherever he wanted without having to wait for someone to drive him there. It could be seen as freedom too in my opinion.

It's more peaceful driving at night as long you're not the type of person who sleeps off easily at night because I've seen some drivers fall asleep while on the wheels. It's very crazy.
Nah, I'm a night owl, not by choice. I have to work later hours to be aligned with stateside time.

But, having to work would get in the way of doing night cruises.

I've often thought about getting a bike so I could easily go for a ride and it be much quicker as the time to hop on and off the freeway would be cut in half.

I'm very skeptical with using bikes. I had a very nasty accident some years ago with one and ever since, I don't find it comfortable being on a bike. It doesn't matter if I'm the one driving or the tag along, I think I have PTSD from the accident.

I love driving only when the road is a free expressway and I am in an electric vehicle.

Let me understand something real quick. You love driving only when the road is a free expressway and I am in an electric vehicle, what happens when you have a free expressway but with a gasoline car? You wouldn't drive?

I prefer not to.

It is from my experience that - driving an electric vehicle is really smooth. It makes less noise, no vibrations and very less effort to drive.

To drive a gasoline car after driving an electric vehicle, to me, is unimaginable.

It just boils down to personal choices.
