There are some times you won’t know what to do with a level, it just seems to hard to pass by. You might think if you have access to a cheat to bypass it will be easier.

I don’t like using cheats though, I don’t like how I feel afterwards. It is not my achievement, I want to do it all by myself.
So I just give it time if any game proves difficult, I eventually find my way around it without cheating.

Do you often use cheats?

I hardly use cheats. I know the urge to cheat is always present when a game is challenging and difficult. Games are developed to help gamers cultivate skills such as coordination, problem-solving perseverance and social skills. Relying on cheats, however, defeats the purpose and takes away the fun associated with successfully completing every task unaided.

So many gamers see cheats as a very easy way out but they're actually not. Games are meant to challenge us and that's the thrill. If it's not challenging, then it won't be addictive. So, I learn and get better by trying harder. If I get stuck, I try to look for hints online or ask friends. I try to be fair because it's better than cheating.

Well, I admit I have used cheats in the past but that was only after I failed to progress despite trying very hard. However, I have now stopped using cheats, having fun is more important that performance

I also used them in the past to beat my friends. However, when competition and winning became less important than enjoying the game, I realized how much using them was costing me the fun aspect of actually playing the game. Now, I do not use them anymore and I don't even know if modern games have them anymore.
