discuss Do You Like TV Show Spin-Offs?

Sometimes it looks like certain character in the show deserve more attention and you wish for a standalone show for this character. These spin-offs can add depth to the show’s universe. Do you enjoy watching spin-off, which spin-off series are your favorite? Which character from your favorite show needs a spin-off?

I enjoyed NCIS, so I thought I'd give NCIS: Los Angels a go. After a few episodes or a season or two, I had to stop watching it. What they were doing seemed like it would be under the purview of the NSA or DIA, not the Department of the Navy.

They did come back better with NCIS Hawai'i though.

I wouldn't say that I enjoy all TV show spin-offs but I have been known to watch a spin-off and enjoy it.

Young Sheldon which I believe is a spin-off for The Big Bang Theory and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage are two I have watched and enjoy.

TV show spin-offs is like having a continuation of a story my love. I enjoyed shows like The Originals because it was about the vampires family from The Vampire Diaries.

Spin-offs are nice because one gets to see more of the characters. Like in ‘The Simpsons, many of its episodes are spin-off and only one character is portrayed.

The problem with some spinoffs is that they are not as good as the original one. But I will make an exception for The Originals, which I think is a spinoff of the Vampire Dairies. I love that one.
