I am a fan of classic movies, I frequently watch movies form Black and White era. In fact some of my all time favorite movies are from the Black and White generation. Do you watch Black and White movies, what are your favorite movies from this era?

Even if these movies are not based on history, you can certainly learn about the history. For example, if you watch a movie made in 1950, you will know how that place looked during that time, and what people wore in that era.

Sometimes. The ones I have watched present something different compared to what you expect when watching colored movies.

They immerse you much more because you are drawn in to pay much more attention because of the absence of color. At least this has been my experience with them.

Years ago when I was a kid, I used to enjoy watching movies with my dad, he was always someone who enjoyed to watch classic movies and a lot of them were in black and white.

I can't say that I watch black-and-white movies now though.

I haven't watched any such movies. Have watched colored version of those black and white movies that were first released in black and white.

Yes l adore these types of movies since childhood. Now l am adult and l repeat watching black and white films in daily basis.

The only black-and-white movie I enjoyed was Schindler’s List. I have watched this movie many times, and I will never tire of watching it again.
Schindler’s List is a great movie. The other films such as Casablanca and 12 angry men are also best shot in black and white. They are timeless and beautiful.

I tried watching some black and white movies some time back and I simply could not enjoy it. That was a few years back though, it's possible my taste may have changed since then.
