discuss Do you like fantasy movies?

I like fantasy genre, therefore I enjoy watching fantasy movies. In fact I always try to watch all fantasy movies that I can get access. Fantasy movies are too fun. What about you, do you like fantasy movies?

I love fantasy movies a lot because it offer me an escape into a whole new world. I love movies that spark imagination and creativity and that's exactly what fantasy movies does to me. It's become my go-tos for relaxation. From LOTR to Harry Potter, I've watched them all. I even went further by watching Japan's 'Spirited Away' and China's 'The Monkey King'. They are so incredible.

Not all fantasy movies deliver. I have watched quite a lot that didn't deliver as I wanted. It wasn't entertaining at all. A good example was 'The Last Airbender'. I’m not insinuating that we don't have good ones that break boundaries. Of course, we do and a good example is 'Pan's Labyrinth.

Yes, not all fantasy movies deliver, sometimes they can be very boring. Some fantasy movies are all about computer generated images instead of a good story, a good plot and good characters.

Are you talking about Avatar: The Last Airbender? If yes then I have to disagree with you. That animation was a masterpiece. Maybe if you had said that about the sequel, Legend of Korra I would have understood. But ATLA, nope.

I love fantasy movies. They transport me into other realms of life and they have a way of keeping me away from reality. I like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and other movies of this kind. I enjoy watching them a whole lot.

Some are good in they they create unique experience by combining action, myths and adventure. Pan's Labyrinth is an example of a fantasy movie that a lot of people like.

If I'm going to choose one movie as the best fantasy movie of all time, it's going to be - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. This movie won 17 Oscar Awards without having a single sex or nude scene in it.
