Cooking has become one of my favorite pastimes. While I wouldn’t call myself a skilled cook like my late grandmother, I can say I’ve made some progress over the years. My culinary journey started when I lived on my own. One of my specialties is “sinigang na baboy,” a delicious Filipino specialty. Do you like cooking? If so, what’s your signature dish?

It has always been my favourite pastime, but I only cook non veg dishes since, over the years, with much trials, I have found out. that I am not very good when it comes to vegetarian dishes and bakes.

My favourite dish to make is Chicken Butter Masala - its chicken slow cooked in cream and cashew paste which is medium spicy and extra delicious.

I like cooking.

I just like cooking stuff that is horrible for me, LOL. I bought one of those Blackstone Grills last summer. I really like using it to make smash burgers, breakfast, and stir fry.

Grilling is my favorite.

I also like wilderness cooking. I was once going to try to make a channel, blog, and social media brand all about cooking in nature while camping, hiking, and biking. I just don't have time to do it, so I aborted it.

Food just tastes better when it's made outside!

I used to. I used to love the fast-paced environment of small kitchen restaurants. That is, until, I went into commercial cooking for hundreds of customers at a time. It just burnt me out, and I never picked up a passion for cooking again.

I would prefer to Uber Eats before throwing on a steak, and it's not because I'm lazy, it's because I used to get all into it to tenderize it, marinate it, and cook it to the perfection that I like (rare-medium rare), and top it off with garnish before eating. I just don't have that in me anymore, so I just would throw a steak in a pan and eat it as is. Uber tastes better than that, so that's where I'm at with cooking.

Fortunately, my wife loves cooking and uses up to 15 ingredients in each meal, delicately arranging meals to look as fancy as possible (and nutritious at that). So, I love her for (not only) that.

I like to cook. I learned how to from my parents. I'm nowhere as good as them at cooking, but I do try my best with the things that I cook. My nana(grandma) is one of the best cooks that I know, just like my mom. My dad also made various recipes that aren't so known in the United states. Such as, cachupa and fried rice with tuna.

Cooking isn't one of my passions though.

I love to cook! I was brought up learning to cook by my mum and my grandma and everything I know now about cooking is what they taught me.

I have always believed in home made cooking and don't mind takeaway food as a treat so I always cook for my family. One dish that I make for my family that they love and eat without any issues is a bacon pasta dish. I use smoked bacon pieces and make my own pasta sauce and then mix the pasta in with the bacon and pasta sauce, top with cheese. The taste is amazing!
