Ever replay a conversation and worry you said the wrong thing? Post-event anxiety, or the “social hangover,” happens when self-consciousness kicks in after socializing. It’s often linked to social anxiety or perfectionism. Reality check: people rarely notice small social missteps as much as we think. How do you handle social overthinking?

I can't say that I do this.

I used to be really anti-social. back then, I was pretty depressed, as well.

Long story short, I got tired of feeling blue and forced myself to become social. After I did, depression went away and my life got better and better. I know not everyone is going to follow that advice but that's what worked for me.

I'm getting ready to do an event Saturday. I'll be doing a PPT presentation in front of around 200 people. It will be my biggest one yet, I'm excited about it. 10 years ago, I'd likely have thrown up at the thought of it.

I'm also getting paid $200 for doing it. That's a plus :D
