discuss Deletion of history

It has become a growing trend that leaders, often with their far right anger mongering crowds, decide to delete history of many regions.

For example, in India, there is growing support for demolishing mosques and building temples in its place often under the garb of history by stating that a temple used to exist in place where the mosque stands and that condition has to be restored.

What do you think about this?

It sounds like a lot of silly ethnic fighting. It's like these nations fighting over small islands (Dokdo between South Korea and Japan).

I find these historical claims and the resulting actions deeply concerning. While historical narratives are complex, using them to justify demolishing religious sites and displacing communities seems unjust. It risks fueling division and undermining the peaceful coexistence that diverse societies should strive for.

I don't think its 'silly' ethnic fight.

I dont want to pick up this fight, but I really want to make my point that because of this, a lot of deprived people loose their life and/or livelihood. Take any ethnic conflicts, none were bloodless. All have resulted in bloodlust, cries, loss and grief.
