Do you read about subaltern history compared to the mainstream history?
I am a history buff who recently started to read the history books of the subaltern. I m not very impressed because I find it often having less implications on the larger outcome of the timescale, but its lovely to know how the local people and the lower class tried to interpret the events surrounding them and also the impact of these events.
