I think we should examine the AI especially regarding their decision-making capabilities. The present-day technology holds the capability to duplicate human decision-making strategies.

Of course, the human decision-making differs from AI due to emotional involvement. AI only relies mainly on analytical data processing to create responses. So I'm curious, can AI models effectively simulate human decision-making?

AI systems have restricted decision making functions when compared to that of humans and they do not match humans thinking too . Artificial intelligence makes it possible to arrange huge databases and can help in generating forecasts. But people usually base their decisions through emotional responses and we employ instinct and our previous experiences to make decisions. The depth of human decisions and thinking completely exceeds digital limits.

AI has its limitations and I'm not sure it will match human intelligence at some point in the future. Decisions from AI sometimes could be misleading as it does not have human experience and insights. An example is the French-language artificial intelligence chatbot (Lucie) backed by the French government that was taken offline recently for giving ridiculous answers to simple math question and advising one person to eat cow's eggs. AI is there to help us work better and it may be overrated in my opinion.

This is very hilarious. It looks like the AI program was actually malfunctioning at the time when it gives that kind of response because I cannot understand the reason why it was acting in such manner. Probably, they didn't update it when they are supposed to.

There are various issues with AI simulating the human brain - which is otherwise called Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

I was reading a book titled 'Our Final Invention' by James Barrat. It speaks about the dangers of singularity, which is the process by which AGI will upgrade itself to Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) and Earth will be shared by humans and super intelligent robot, the event called Singularity.

From what I have read, it can happen to us as early as 2050.

I'm guessing by that time, they must have already started installing computer chips in either our brains or bodies.

The book argues that an artificial intelligence can transform into human like super intelligence by learning about different senses, textures and patterns. Hence a conventional AI can be transformed into ASI only if its implanted into a body or has a body made for it.

Just note, Neuralink has already started implanting AI into human brains and major military powers have already started producing AI based robots giving it a body to thrive, a function to kill and a urge to defend itself.

See where I am going?

I hope we don't get to the age of what happened in the Terminator movie with Skynet trying to wipe out humanity because with how our technology is going to with the use of AI, it's scary what might happen in the future. I hope we are ready for it by then.
