Because I am. No seriously! 🙄 The first 7 or 8 movies in the franchise are great no doubt, but after that the focus doesn't seem to be on fast cars anymore.
It is beginning to look like the regular villain vs hero movies now. Now I'm not saying that's bad, but that's not what the franchise is originally known for.
I feel like they need to take a break at this point.
What is your opinion on this?

It seems like the Fast and Furious franchise has gone down the dreaded road. I noticed that it’s no longer about cars or racing, its now all about action and stunts now. They should just take a break. It’s getting too much.

That's exactly my point. The franchise has lost that element that makes it stand out from others. Time to wrap it up it seems.

I stopped watching these movies a long time ago, I was tired with the same kind of story line and the stunts that are nothing for computer generated.

Same.

Because it drifted (no pun intended) away from the car scene, which very much still exists, to going to out of space?

It seems like they can create an entirely new movie script with AI, but somehow it'll be eaten up by the audience.

I thought the franchise would go away after Paul Walker's death, but sequels have proven that wrong.

Exactly.

It's like at one point Fast and Furious movies merged with James Bond-like plots. It's a bit too ridiculous for my taste now.

I was fed up after the plot which they had "God's Eye" technology in the movie. I was like yoh, that's not how what I remember F&F movie to be about. They simply ruined it for me. I managed to watch the last one and if not for Jason, it wouldn't have been any fun.

I think there is need for reassessment. You can't entirely abandon what makes you great. All the franchise needs is a bit of innovation and focus. I still enjoy its movies though.

The simple truth is that they are just trying as much as possible to milk the franchise because of how popular it have been. Unfortunately, they have run out of real storyline that fitted what the movie was when it came out.

For me, it is also time for new ideas to be added. The movies are still good to watch but there is a sense that they are just predictable. Maybe with the addition of some elements of fresh stories, it could make it exciting again. To be honest I still watch those movies, but I think it would be nice to have a change.

If they can't find a way to get the story of the movie back to what it used to be, I'm afraid, there's no way they can bring back the real fun we had in the movie when it first came out.

Exactly my point. At this point, it is safe to say that the franchise is only living on past glory. Much of the storyline now is getting predictable.
When the franchise started, they were neither meant to be perceived as heroes nor villains. They mainly deal with fast cars.
We need that back or they should call it quit.

I agree. Fast and Furious started deviating from the concept which made it a hit. It change gears from racing to overboard action. I don't know if anyone noticed this? The franchise requires a rebirth to return to the fresh and credible feeling of what it used to be.

To be honest I feel it has gone on for way too long. Things are becoming too unrealistic. I preferred it when it was just street racing, fast cars and bank heist.

Yeah, that's very correct. They started coming up with a storyline that's never going to be possible to pull off in real life. It's just too much with what they are doing trying to sell the movie.

Exactly, if they had left it about fast cars and bank heist am pretty sure the movie would still be awesome.

They ran out of idea with the storyline. It was the biggest challenge they had. I think it's the same thing with the TV show Money Heist (La Casa de Papel). They are stuck with developing the storyline in my opinion.

I have heard about money heist but i have never watched it. Maybe in the future though, they should not have prolonged the fast and furious series.
