discussAre directors aware they are making bad movies, when they are making them?
How do they deceive themselves into thinking it would come out decent or great? Of course, though, "a good movie" might be in the beholder's eyes, but I don't think always.
I have often wondered the same. How could one miss out on how wrong the movie sounds or feels while making it? I feel that as long as they can recover their capital and a baseline profit they just don't care. I am sure some see this coming long before it is released. In fact, I am surprised as to how some very great actors accept very horrible movies. SMH!
