I've been watching this excellent UK drama series on Netflix about a murder committed by a schoolboy. I'm only on episode 2, so no spoilers if you have seen it. Knife crime is a serious issue here in the UK and this series really highlights that.

It's been picked up by the government, with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer backing a campaign to have Adolescence shown in schools. Hard hitting, brutally emotional. If anything can help with a nascent knife crime epidemic its a good thing.

I haven't seen the show but based on your explanation, it seems to be a thought provoking series. Addressing knife issues and its root cause is very crucial considering the rate of knife crime in your country. Showing it in schools would be a great way to raise awareness and educate younger audiences better on this issue.

Its a limited drama which means that it finishes with one season and has less than 10 episodes. I remember rightly, it has 7 episodes.

It is very exciting, intense and really scary!

I am doubting, after watching this, if I should ever let my children into social media.

It has four episodes. Only four and each is filmed in one continuous shot. It's actually excellent TV.

And I've just learned it is being made free for showing in schools to tackle 'toxic masculinity'.
