off-topic With $100K to spend on a car, what would you buy?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I would buy Tesla Cyber Truck. By the way, how much does a Cyber Trick cost in the US? This model of Tesla car is not yet available in my home country.

It depends on the model you're interested in buying from when I saw in their listing.

Base Cybertruck RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) is sold at $60,990, Cybertruck AWD (All-Wheel Drive) sold at $79,990 and Cyberbeast (Top-Spec) is sold at $99,990 to $120,000.

A Toyota Land Cruiser 300 GR Sport at about $60,000 local currency.

I'd love the diesel, but the gasoline version has a 7-seater vice a 5-seater.

It's almost time for an upgrade, and taking advantage of the current yen exchange rate now would be great.

However, I'd like to know if the diesel can fit the rear row in for an aftermarket upgrade. They got to be using the same frame...

And we must add custom duty, which is 110 percent in my home country, and on topi of it pay 13 percent VAT.

Your country's government doesn't want its citizens to be buying anything that's not made in the country obviously because this is crazy.
All governments around the world has custom duty and VAT. Have you heard of the American government trying to impose higher custom duty for Chinese EV so that they might not be able to compete with other US based EVs?

I haven't. Custom duty is fairly cheaper in USA. India appears to be the country with the most costly custom duty.

I love Toyota cars maybe I would go for Toyota Land Cruiser. Anything that would build on my confidence would be it for me
Living in Japan, I could get the GR Land Cruiser and Supra for about $85,000. :-P

Plenty left over to spend on gas pushing their max.
