Football tops the chart as the sport with the highest fan base across the globe. However, baseball and basketball often run parallel on the popular chart among their viewers. Although, the popularity may have country bias, however, I personally feel that basketball is played more commonly throughout the world than baseball. The accessory employed for basketball is also relatively easily available than that of baseball. Which sport in your opinion, is more popular and why do you think it is so?

I can genuinely say that I don't know 2 popular baseball players. But basketball? I can go on mentioning them for as long as the names keep popping in my brain.

I have never seen people playing baseball in my country and across West Africa on the streets. Trust me, I have extensively travelled across West Africa. But it is common to see basketball being played on the streets and in high schools sports meets.
