There is something special about sports rivalry that piques my interest. Here is a brief overview of the top 5 rivalries that I have seen influenced sports:

1. Barcelona vs. Real Madrid: The two Spanish football powerhouses give it their all whenever they clash. It's like a fight between to elephant.

2. Baseball: Red Sox versus Yankees. They had the most dramatic moments that people remember for years. We still haven't seen same in this game.

3. Ali vs. Frazier: It's the most talked about boxing matchup. It occurred three times.

4. Federer vs. Nadal: These are greatest tennis titans.

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid was like a hip-hop beef. Both teams were on top of the game, and they were going all out for glory.

I would also say the Liverpool/Man City rivalry has been a good one. Guardiola Vs. Klopp, with City winning the season with one more point than Liverpool, twice. And during this rivalry is when City broke the 100 point tally for a 38-game football season.

I am not aware of club bases sports rivalry but I know there are a lot of arch rivals in cricket and football. For instance India and Pakistan in cricket and Brazil and Argentina in football

Speaking about managers rivalries, I will never forget the time it was so heated between Jose Mourinho as Chelsea manager vs Arsène Wenger who was the manager of Arsenal football club. I used to think Arsène Wenger was the owner of Arsenal 😂 😂

That era was madness. First it was Arsène Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson, then it was Arsene and Mourinho. Those rivalries gave us some of the best football in the Premier League era
