I make use of both of them, but the majority of persons here make use of WhatsApp. I am more active on Discord because I belong to a lot of servers that discuss the games that I play.

People don't even know Discord at all in my country. WhatsApp is almost the most popular chat messenger in my country. Even Telegram is far popular than Discord over here.

In my country most people tend to have both Discord and WhatsApp but I feel, based on those I know who use either one, Discord seems to be the one that is the most popular.

Snapchat seems to be the place many go to now when it comes to messaging friends or family, it used to be WhatsApp for a while but that soon changed.
