For me, the standout video was Kendrick Lamar's Humble. The visual effects was incredible. It cleverly subverts all those usual hip-hop visuals.
That is nostalgic! You indeed made me remember that 14-minute short musical video that still gives everyone goosebumps, The Thriller. The way MJ blended the music with horror elements was indeed pure genius. It is quite amazing how such a video in those eras can still be a source of influence to artists and directors of today.
