off-topic What's your favorite delivery company?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I don't get to choose. 😅

Anything purchased online will come by 1 of 3 different companies or regular post, with one of the companies being the slowest.

When I make a shipment, I like to use the postal service as it's easier to get tracking done on it, and typically cheaper.

I've used DHL more than any other companies when it comes to my delivery. I mentioned working as a Manager in one Sex Toy company some years ago. We only used DHL to make our shipping internationally. They never disappointed us.

I do not make international purchases so I do not have any favorite international delivery companies. I buy locally and there is one courier service that I like very much. It is not only cheap but also very reliable and fast

Most local delivery companies wouldn't joke with their clients packages because they know it's very risky for their business. Some disgruntled customers might storm their office and raise hell.

I think FedEx is the best. It is very fast to use, and I love the tracking system too. My dad uses them to send stuffs to his friends. Amazon Logistics is also good, they can also deliver item same day.

I really dislike "amazon" and this is why I am boycotting them. There are many good reasons why people should boycott this "amazon" company. There are many other delivery companies like Food Panda that work in my country and it is the most widely used company here.

There's a guy I'm working for who lives in San Francisco, he sent out a shipping to me since June/July but I haven't heard anything about it till today. It's 19th December and I haven't received any call or mail or anything whatsoever my package have arrived. This is going to be be the worst delivery company ever. I can't wait to learn the company he used.

Are serious? This is not good. I think it's either they mixed up your delivery details which is why the package is yet to arrive and also not giving you any calls. Have you tried tracking the shipping?

I currently prefer J&T as my shipping company. They are local, and my orders usually arrive on or before the expected delivery date. I hope they will improve their services more.

I also prefer to order from the local delivery companies. They are often quicker and more efficient than any other means. They seems to make deliveries on time for orders, which is very much appreciated by consumers.

Apart from the typical delivery companies, I would say Uber Eats is a good one... but only for fresh food items. Though, you don't get a choice on how it's shipped. :p

I don't find it comfortable when someone who's a total stranger brings my food. I'm always paranoid thinking what if the person spiked my food or something. I like to go get it myself if I must get food outside.

Japanese are so much more respectable that they would feel the guilt of even thinking about doing such a thing.

But, I do like the failsafe that is probably put into practice by Uber here, or a government order (I've never looked into it), in that they wrap your bag and place a sticker around the tied knot as what I can only assume is a tamper seal, even though it's like a brand (KFC, McD's) taping.

I can't believe that to-go bags in the States don't have a tamper seal like that from the restaurants ordered from. If they only did that, there would be no trust issues there. But, I entirely get your position having watched some delivery videos there.

If they do something like using those tamper seals in packaging, it's definitely going to boost my trust in their services down here. I'm seriously careful with what's entering my body. My mother have poisoned twice and one was from a drink.

Over Here we have DTDC and they are quite good, I have good a few deliveries of credit card through them and it was smooth
