In my opinion, I believe that the reality TV shows are equally positive and negative. On one hand, it may help in getting meaningful message across and also be entertaining at the same time. On the other hand, it can create negativity and some kind of drama which we do not expect.

I understand that some TV shows can truly be too dramatic. I have watched a couple of them. It really had a bad influence on me as a viewer.

It's very true that some of the shows create unrealistic expectations for the viewers and that will make it so difficult to know what is real and what's not.

Many reality shows lack objectivity. They only present exaggerated version of events in order to entertain. Therefore, they end up giving wrong information to viewers.

This way, people try to adapt their lives and lifestyles to what they see on reality show thinking that it is what reality is all about. Its like a game which perverts the minds and corrupt the good.

Reality TV shows seem to have become very popular over time with there being reality TV shows for almost everything now. As much as reality TV shows could have a positive impact, I feel they have more of a negative impact in the sense that they show a false reality to those who watch the shows.

Many tend to take reality TV shows seriously not realizing in some cases, they could be scripted, this then gives them a false outlook on life and results in them making decisions that can in turn, be bad for their future.
