Just of recent, my grandmother made me an album filled with memorable photographs. The good thing is that she made it by herself and I feel the love she puts into it.

She used photos of our family to create a stunning handmade book which contained both pictures and her written notes on the back of each image.

It's an incredibly thoughtful and the most beautiful gift I have ever recieved. Moving through its pages brings back happy memories to me. What about you?

Wow! I couldnt believe my eyes. That's such a beautiful gift! For me, I love guitar and my close friend made the right choice by personalizing a guitar for me as a birthday gift.

That guitar is my best ever gift as it was decorated with my name. He understood how important is music to me. It is my best guiter and I play it on special occasions.

This is going to sound like a bit of a cliché, but my wife gave me two beautiful, healthy, incredible children and that is the best gift a man can get. Being a father is a transformational event. I became a better man, a better husband. You realise that the world is not centred on you and you alone.

Have you ever experienced a woman giving birth to a child? The pregnancy part is an arduous experience in itself, but that miracle of birth is mind-blowing. Michelle sacrificed her health and her body to bring our children into the world and I loved her for it. There has never been a greater gift.

Couple of things......

A lady painted a picture of me and gave it to me when I graduated from high school (it's an oil painting).

Another lady took some fabric that her mother stitched together by hand and had a quilt made out of it. She also gave that to me when I graduated from high school.

Both ladies have passed away.
