I wasn't really a fan of Rap music until I listened to Kendrick Lamar's Alright. What gets to me is the song's message and beat. It was so amazing. I put the song on repeat and listened over and over again. I want to hear your stories. Did you grow up listening to rap or discover it later?

I started with the old-school rap. The Beastie Boys' Fight for Your Right was so fun and energetic. I like an educational rap, not just listening to rhythm.

J. Cole's Middle Child made me like rap music and it's my favorite. The beat is so catchy and the rap so exciting is so meaningful to me.

I started listening to rap music when I was a kid. Back then Tupac, Biggie, Ll Cool J and Run Dmc were the top rappers, they all made me fall in love with rap music. I’ve been listening to rap music for over 20 years now.

It's Tupac who spur my interest in rap. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. I still play his songs till today because I never stopped enjoying his rap.

I used to listen to a lot of Hip Hop when I was younger, but I could not single out any artist that I trully "Loved".

That was until I started listening to Eminem.

His lyricism, wordplay, rapping prowess, and overall how his tracks are out together is what captivated me. We could give it up to Dre and Eminem being a producer, but Em's music is what got me to truly love rap.

Eminem is truly a great rapper in hip hop. If you don't love his raps, I don't think there's any other rapper you're going love. He raps so fast but you're still going to hear everything he's saying. This makes him so unique.

The rivalry between east coast and west coast in the 90s really drew a lot of attention to rap music. Tupac and Biggie made me appreciate the genre. Their delivery and flow were exceptional.

None! I have never been inspired by any rap artist. I like Eminem because how he use his songs to vent anger on something but even he has bot been able to inspire me to get into rap

The gang war and killings which that came with never sank well with me. If it was just the rapping and diss track, I wouldn't have anything wrong to say about it.
