Hip hop and rap when I'm doing cardio, but rock to borderline metal when lifting.
Then, it's just random shuffle between the genres in the car or at home and I'll just skip a song if I'm not feeling it in that moment.

Underrated YouTuber macglocky also does "If X sang Y song" videos, which mash genres. They're a fun listen if you like the artist X or the covered song Y.
I do like older Ska too.

I'll throw on a Billboard playlist every now and then when I just need to quickly put some music on.
Easy to find and fast to get going.
I generally listen to rap & hip hop along with r&b music. I listen to rap and & hip hop music a lot more than r&b though.
I have an unusual confession to make. I love every kind of music, yes including pop, hip-hop, classical. I know, it sounds weird but that's me truly.
I like soft rock, the ones that allow me have a good time before I sleep in the night. I like indie folk too and some local music from local artists.

This is what I do every night before I go to sleep. I listen to soft music in order to make me sleepy, and then I fall asleep faster.
Pretty much the same.
I sometimes do this with The Beatles, etc., an hour prior to bed. But once I'm in bed, only white noise really helps.
I love reggae whenever I want to reason deeply because reggae artist that I listen to their songs always pick on the ills of our government and their system set up to oppresse the poor masses.
I do enjoy hip hop genre whenever I'm at the gym or running. It puts me in the sync to go on harder.

I listen to a lot of older music, RnB and Soft Rock. I also listen to a lot of local music that I do not think anyone here would recognize.
I love hip hop, reggae, blues and classical music. The time and my emotional state determine what I listen to.
I'm a big fan of rap and hip hop/R'n'B too, but also, growing up with two older sisters means I'm also quite a big fan of some pop music. I listen to the charts most weeks as well to keep up to date with what's hot!
