I have watched some movies that break my heart. Most of which are because of the way the story ends. Certain movie stories get to you and make you burst into tears without knowing. 'The Fault in Our Stars' breaks my heart. It was about lovers who struggled with cancer. OMG! I cried a lot

Well, the Lion King really made me sad! I’m so sure that everyone is sad too after watching the movie. Mufasa's death is so tragic, and even the way Simba feels guilty and lost is a sad moment. Even with the song, 'Hakuna Matata' it’s still so hard to feel better.

For me, the movie that breaks my heart is The Book Thief'. You need to watch that movie. It was all about hope and kindness but the way the story ends is heartbreaking. The tragedy was so intense.

The two movies which have left me in a state of serious heartbreak for days is Sometimes in April and Hotel Rwanda.

When you watch how they commit genocide in those movies, your heart is going to bleed.

Some movies certainly makes me sad if the ending is sad, however, movies are fictions and they never break my heart. Even when the movies are based on real events, I my heard does not break with the turn of sad events.

If even the real life events doesn't get you badly, it means your heart is very strong. I might not cry over such movies but my heart will be made very heavy imagining what those who experienced that went through.

Romance movies which have a tragic ending is normally heartbreaking. The producers of Titanic had the story written right in the movie. It's why the movie have aged so well.
