If there's one thing which I know in this life, it's that everyone dies one day. It's why I appreciate life so much and make the most of it.

This is why my family is so important to me. They are the first priority in my life. I make every effort to spend time with my old parents so much because I know one day, I will no longer have them with me. They are my most precious thing.

What do you try so much to enjoy before it's no longer around?

I try to enjoy the present, I try to live in the present. Well, it is not easy but I try hard to enjoy what I have because I know nothing is permanent and everything changes.

I try to just enjoy the time. Time will pass, and it's not something that you can ever get back. So, I enjoy every moment I can and make each second count.
Time is priceless and you can never get it back when it's gone. If I give anything my time, it means such a thing is very important to me.

Life.

It's precious and you can lose it in an instance.

I live for today. I cherish every single moment of my life, even the bad ones. I love living. When I was younger, I hated it and let a lot of my youth get away from me.

Now I live to be as young as I can feel and take advantage of being alive.

Amen to that! If you haven't been very close to someone who died, you're never truly going to appreciate how precious life is.

One of my co-tenants died in my arms some years ago when he had high blood pressure attack. Before we could get the medics, he died. He went cold in my arms. I'll never forget that experience.

I try to go to my favorite beach before they ruin it with infrastructure like a highway bypass in front of it.

There was one that I went to all the time about 15 years ago, but they decided to build a bridge across it about 50 meters out to divert traffic to the airport. It made the water turn from crystal clear to murky and have some floating oil from bridge drainage in areas at times before it's either cleaned or floats off.

Surely, there will be more construction jobs like that as hotels buy up beach property and need to run highways to them.

My grandmother died last year.

She had a big hand in raising me. It's like losing a parent and the first time it has happened. I was very close to her and the only one who she could rely on.

It's been pretty hard to be honest as she died unexpectedly. Sometimes I go to call her and have to hang the phone up because I realize she isn't here anymore.

That makes me appreciate life.

She waited long enough for me to get married and then died about a week after that.

Sorry to hear that.

I'm glad that she got to witness that moment though. It probably brought her so much happiness.

It really was.

I was her everything.

Due to mistakes she made as a parent, her kids were estranged from her. I was her second chance. She had planned to self-terminate until she learned I was being born, the first grandchild.
