We all face overwhelming moments. We are frequently overwhelmed in our personal life as well as professional life. How can we maintain our compose, manage stress without getting burnout and overwhelmed? What techniques have helped you to over come your feelings of overwhelms.
 
Yes that's life for you sometimes I get overwhelmed and I just let go and let God. This is mostly for things I can't handle at all.
Sounds like a motto I live by, which can reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed if you just accept the fact that no matter what you do, it's impossible to change the outcome in some circumstances.

Control what you can, accept what you cannot, and move on with your day.
 
Slow down. I find that slowing down and taking stock of what is happening helps immensely. Sometimes doing this also helps me realize what I am facing is not as serious or overwhelming as I made it out to be,
 
I speak to a confidant. Sometimes sharing my worries with someone who cares enough to listen can go a long way to make me feel better.

Before, I was quite stressed anytime I had so many tasks such as home assignments or cleaning duties. But now I hold my breathe, do those tasks piece by piece and this technique really works for me.
