off-topic What are some things that you like to collect?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I like to collect and rotate art in and around the house. I see this as a collection, but also an investment. If the artist blows up, so does the selling price. But in the meantime, I can enjoy a nice piece of artwork hanging, and change it out with another piece to change the setting.

Beyond my collection of coins I purchase for investment reasons, due to the silver contents, I like to keep different coins of different denominations from various countries that I sometimes receive in my bulk "what you see is what you get" coin orders. One day, I will use them in the country of origin, but, I'm not up for traveling the world to do that yet.

I have collections of other things that I'm building up as well, including Zippos and LPs (vinyl records).

The only thing that I collect that doesn't retain some value, or have an expected higher value, are movie ticket stubs. While I still record movies watched, when and where, in a spreadsheet to avoid watching movies over and over, I will keep my ticket stubs in a ziplock bag and even go as far as keeping them in my safe as I took quick notice of the ink fading from the first stubs I ever got. This is because each stub wasn't just a movie, but rather an experience, and a memory that I'd like to hold onto.

I used to collect old coins and coins of different countries during my childhood but lost interest so I have stopped.
