Have you ever read a book and at the later felt like the author tried to quickly wrap up the story? That’s how I felt watching the animated Watchmen movies. They attempted to convey the same message as the book but they did not do it well.

From the animated feature, the drawings resembled the pictures described in the book, but on the other hand, the animation could hardly be considered smooth. The backgrounds looked really bad like it is an old video game.

The people making the movie appeared to be quite rushed. They even omitted some scenes which are considered necessary in a normal film. That is not the way to do good movie. You want to ensure that everything is looking good and feeling just right for a long period of time.
