We don't need to get it twisted. Most of the Preachers nowadays prioritize personal wealth over the real thing which is genuine spirituality. There's so much emphasis on prosperity and this can be very damaging because they tend to see wealth has a measure of faith.

Well, I can see some of the appeal because so many people are having a rough time financially.

The most amazing thing is that with all the prosperity preaching in christendom, only few people are getting rich. It is mostly the preachers that are making the money. And that is terrible.

Well, they might be encouraging their flocks to obtain financial stability, at the least. But, nonetheless, money shouldn't be the object of every sermon.

They would tell you that prosperity was in the package that Jesus died for. Some even say that it is difficult for a poor man to make heaven. Some of those pro-prosperity sermons are laughable.
