A lot of people have argued on the position of women in leadership specially in religious arenas. Some persons believed that women has no place in religious leadership while other have an opposite opinion about it. What is the appropriate role of women in the religious organization, particularly to be permitted to the leadership positions in their assemblies?

The clear answer is religion was created by men, so they did not give women any position in the religious institutions. Historically speaking, Buddhism is one of the oldest religions that have accepted women. The Buddha allowed his mother to become a monk and stay in the monastery.

Here is the definition of this word
"each of a series of medieval military expeditions made by Europeans to the Holy Land in the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries"
Now explain me how would women engage in crusades in the modern time?
However, I side with your opinion that women should also be allowed to take leadership roles. But here is my question, are you ready for a woman Pope. Are you ready for a a woman as pastor, minister, or reverend?

I am a Hindu, in Hinduism, women have always given special position. In Hindu theologies there are numerous women sages whi have contributed to the development of Hindu religion
Let's talk about contemporary scene. Do we see women as a heard of religious institutions in Hindu religion? Do we see women priest, do we see women initiating rituals?

This is wrong. Women cannot be treated like that. They deserve respect and are equally entitled to any position in the world even if it's religious leader.

Yes, we can see a lot of women in religious institutions and initiating rituals in Hindu societies. You will have to see what's happening in Nepal and India.
