South Korea is the remnant of the Korean War and many of it's citizens are ungrateful for the US liberation and long for reunification, even at the cost of sucking up to the North. Taiwan, on the other hand, seems pretty united on remaning communist-free, but it's a huge headache for world foreign policy because it's literally impossible to get the Communists out of power in mainland China.
Vietnam? It's reunited, but under Communism, and after a long bloody conflict which was very costly to it and its neighbors.
What is your thoughts?
