A mix between a war film and a gripping drama, The Hurt Locker was a film I really enjoyed when I first watched it as a teenager. I've watched it again a couple of times since, and while I've still enjoying it, I did find that the build-up takes a little bit too long at times, and it is a bit easy to lose concentration during some of the extended scenes with dialogue.

That being said, overall, the storyline was great and the character development as the movie goes on is good quality.

If you haven't watched it yet and are a fan of war movies, it's definitely worth a watch when you have some free time. I wouldn't add it right to the top of your list, but I definitely don't think it'd be a waste of time to watch. :)
