Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
The Dark Knight is the movie that changed everything in the Batman franchise for good, and it was once again directed by Christopher Nolan. I have to point out that the Dark Knight is in a lot of ways a continuation of Batman Begins. Almost everybody loves this movie, and many also believe that it's one of the greatest movies ever made in the Batman films, which I don't disagree with.

This movie is expertly and beautifully shot. The cinematographer did a great job on this. I also love that it added a significant old-school movie vibe. Additionally, the writing and the acting in this movie are pretty top-notch. There are a few flaws that I observed with the writing, but overall, it's really solid.

Christian Bale so far has been the only actor to nail all three sides of Batman, and he has once again shown that in this movie. Another actor that stands out to me is Aaron Eckhart. But I feel like he often gets overlooked in this movie, but I really believed him every step of the way. Gary Oldman and Miichael Caine did well bringing the cartoonish character to life.

Overall, this movie is great!

The Dark Knight is a masterpiece in so many ways. There's no denying that it's not without fault. One thing I don't seem to understand is the transformation of Christian Bale's voice. It’s just getting weirder. What does that mean? I don't know if it was the direction given him or just a choice he made for his character. To me, it was a bit silly.

Another thing I need to point out is how Joker managed to survive all of the ridiculous scenarios especially where he could have easily been captured or killed. How is that possible?

I think no one will disagree with me when I say this is the best Batman movie to be ever made. Portrayal of the Joker by Heath Ledger was fantastically done. This is certainly a masterpiece.
