game Super Mario Bros. or Sonic the Hedgehog?

This is an eternal debate. But as a retro gamer, I must say that Super Mario is one of the best. Mario looks cool with his red hat and blue overalls and the gameplay is still fun. However, Sonic has its own merits on his side. Yet in my opinion, Mario is more realistic and enjoyable game. What about you?

I used to love the Super Mario Bros.

However, after playing it for so long, now I am tilting towards Sonic because, who doesn't need a change?

Comapred to Super Mario Bros, I also feel that Sonic is having a faster game play.
