It seems as if there is very little difference between the different streaming sites, especially in terms of pricing and library. Each is about £10.99 and each boasts a library in the tens of millions. If they are so similar, why does a user choose one or the other? There is obvious ecosystems considerations. Apple fans will go for Apple Music, If you use Amazon Prime because you order lots of cheap shite on the internet, Amazon Music is a nice bonus. If you watch a lot of YouTube videos, YT music is a bonus.
And I don't want to politicise it, but I do wonder if Spotify (Sweden) has seen an uptick from the recent anti-american sentiment with people suggesting alternatives to US products in response to Trump's tariffs.
