A new of funding sports by both public and private agencies are through sports based mutual funds which are otherwise termed as alternate investment funds. It is yet to take off in this part of the world, but what about your country?

Would you be fine in investing in sports club based mutual funds to sponsor sporting events and then derive distributable profits from each of this events? DO you think financial markets will mature to this level of investment complexity?

I also heard that the investment market has presented an alternative through sports-based mutual funds. I see that there is increasing interest in substitute investment funds across many countries. Sports club-based mutual fund investments are put forward for investors to gain possible profitability benefits.

Now when I think of it - I just realise that it is an extremely brilliant plan!

Imagine, people subscribing to your fund and you not wanting to do any advertisement at all because the sporting events speaks for itself! If Manchester United was to start a sports mutual fund, maybe, half of the world would be glad to subscribe to it!

However, there is one problem I think is concerning - What will be the instruments in which they will be investing in? Would it be merely sports clubs or players or also in sports infrastructure?

Seriously, I'm not update with this information about sports mutual funds or how it's going to work. I'm going conduct my own research into the matter and see what I'm going to come up with. It's then I would know if it's something that's going benefit Mr. A or Mr. B.
