I had Badges extended, twice.

One was to show the ribbons and the ribbons of the medals under your name and the ribbons and medals separately in your profile. The second extension was this: to announce an award when eligibility is met or you're given a manual award (see: awards and criteria).

I like to think outside of the box and do what others aren't. There is something quite cool in the works that's planned, which will make everyone stunned when it's done. It should be quite popular, or maybe a 15-minutes-of-fame gimmick. Only time will tell.

I had the medals/ribbon extension made for satire because ROFLMAO uses a military-like ranking structure, so why not ribbons and medals to go along with it instead of boring old trophies? However, I let the add on developer release it (paid) because I could see a use for forums that are military (or organizational-centric) that award their members with both ribbons and medals. And, with a Veteran forum under ownership being opened soon, I will be porting real US DoD ribbons/medals/devices over for anyone who wants to show their military racks off.

The @Awards Presenter announcement add on (extension to Badges) should be released within a couple of months as I like to take the lead on innovation if I am willing to release it to the public.

What I have in the works won't be released, though. It'll either add so much value to this or nothing at all, but I'm willing to take the risk for private development.
