movie See for Me (2022)

See for Me is about a blinded Olympic skier who is trying to deal with the reality that she may no longer be able to ski anymore, believing that she is too good to ski for the Paralympics.

As such, she takes on odd jobs, and supposedly makes quite a bit of money in doing so. You will only find out how she makes so much if you watch it, then you'll understand her personality a bit more.

While she's catsitting for a very wealthy person, there's a home invasion during the night. She's able to feel around and sense something is wrong. To get help, she first calls 9-1-1, and then uses an app for the blind that video calls an assistant. The assistant helps her ward off the home invaders, surprisingly well, and maybe questionably well.

After the events, she finally finds herself again, partially (if you recollect how she earned so much), and trusts in a skiing partner to help her begin training for the Paralympics.

It's an average movie that has holes to pass the time, but if you don't know about guns, then you might be able to overlook this.

This is an emotionally touching movie that we need to watch. Sophie is very brave and smart, too, even though she's blind. It amazes me how she was able to use her other senses to stay safe. She also used apps to help herself out too. This further tells us about the importance of technology. It's her lifesaver.

The movie teaches a lot of people some life lessons. You don't have to be limited by anything or your current situation. You can do something good for yourself irrespective of the situation you’re in. Sophie shows that having a disability doesn't mean you're not strong.
