discuss Real Madrid vs Man City in the UCL playoffs, gotten tired of this fixture already?

A thread for live match analysis, player performances, scores, highlights, fan predictions, and general sports discussions across all sports.
Why would the original poster say that UEFA fixed the match-up? The draw was very transparent for all to see. If any of the trans had done well in the preliminary stage, they won't be facing each other. That said, it is Madrid that has what it takes to win on current form.

I never actually said that is the case. I was only saying that because we've been having the fixture a lot in recent seasons. Don't mind me lol.
Meanwhile, everyone is rooting for Real Madrid, don't y'all think Man City can pull a shocker by securing a win this night?

They're actually playing right now funnily enough, only just seen this thread though.

It is weird how they seem to get drawn together so often, but the way the seedings work in Champions League draws and the fact that they're two teams of few that are always in the knockout rounds naturally means they are going to meet each other more often. There's funny quirks in draws in every sport.

And Madrid just wins again. It is crazy how they came back to win the match even when City had taken the lead. Would we still blame this defeat at Etihad to the absence of Rodri when they had the winter transfer market to reinforce? Anyways, let's wait for the return leg.

Ooops 😬 never mind. You know what is being said about Real Madrid in the Champions League, never celebrate a win against them until the final whistle.
But Man City bottling a lead to end up losing sums up their form this season.

Both teams have talented players which made their past encounters intense and unpredictable. However, based on current form, it will be easier for Real Madrid to beat Man City.

Even a fully fit Manchester City team will not find it easy beating Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. It's the first time Real Madrid and City had to be in a playoff match. It was like another final for both teams and Real Madrid was never going to underperform in the games.
