I believe that there are certain cycles for a nation to adopt a political ideology.

For example, in case of a birth of a nation, people prefer to go through left movements (Sri Lanka has a left President), to sustain a country, people are inclined to take up conservative governments (India) and as a country wants to destroy itself, they incline towards right ideology (Germany).

It is also supported by sociological evidences in which the nations go through cyclical changes which are also a global trend.

What are your thoughts?

I think you need to do some research. When Srilanka became independent in 1948 it had Constitutional monarchy. It is true that the current government is left but Srilanka as a whole is not a communist country.
As far as India is concerned, I do not think it is tilting towards conservative government, I believe it is searching for its true identity.

I am referring to its birth as a nation after the turmoil and bankruptcy in 2022-23. The far right has been removed and a leftist leader has been appointed. They reached out to various nations and also brought in a economic restructuring programme in the midst of all these globally boiling scenarios.

In case of India, I am curious to know why you think its 'searching for its identity'?

In the US, the Trump ideology has taken root because the white population has been demonized by the left, in order to raise the status of other groups. This, of course, has brought on resentment, along with other things like lack of immigration control, emasculation of males, and outsourcing of jobs.

That is entirely possible.

We were able to suppress white racism because dissenting groups gained power. But that was having a positive externality.

However, a right government in US doesnt bode well for anyone, in my opinion. Take the minorities, poor countries, issues which are close to the planet's survival including health.
