Mickey 17 was one of those movies that made you think, "Oh, this isn't like the trailer at all."

There were bits throughout that were both serious and made me laugh slightly, but overall, I thought it was too long and dry. It has a run time of 2 hours and 17 minutes, but it sure felt a lot longer than that, and not want to stay to keep watching more.

It's like they redid Idiocracy in 2025, with many more sub-plots, and injected a bunch of woke stuff into it, too, that can't be overlooked because one of the sub-plots is that they're on an expeditionary mission to create a "one race" planet, highly emphasizing White, but having a mixed cast that is into the idea.

I don't know why it has such a high score across rating sites. Somebody would have to explain that to me.

I would give it a 2/5, myself.
