discuss List Your Top 3 Overrated Movies

Some movies are overly overrated and didn't really live up to the hype. I've seen a couple movie trailers that got me hooked and when I watched, I was disappointed in the end. Here is the list of what I've got and why it's overrated

1. Avatar (2009) - it's a good movie but it made this list because of its predictable plot.
2. The Shawshank Redemption (1994) - I mean, it was really overhyped but the pacing is way too slow
3. Titanic (1997) - don't get me wrong, Titanic is a good movie but the romance overshadows its real meaning. I mean, its historical significance.

Putting Titanic on your list in validate this post. I have literally never come across anyone who thinks the movie is overrated. It was based on real life events, which means the romance was probably real to an extent.

The three movies which I'm going to put on my list of most overrated would be ;

1. The Flash Movie. It was a complete flop with all the hype it came with. There was so much expectation on it because of the TV show but it failed.

2. Black Adam. This was the first super hero movie by The Rock. It never reached the expectations of it in the box office.

3. Thor: Love and Thunder. It was a joke of a movie. I never liked it.

That's your opinion, my friend! I already stated the reason why I picked Titanic in my thread, and I believe people who have watched it back to back will agree with me..

I think Avatar and The Shawshank Redemption are good movies but I agree that Titanic was overrated. I think most of super hero movies are overrated.

One other particular movie which I can recommend in this regard is The Social Network. It was made so well but I don’t agree that it is as highly regarded as it is made to be.
