discuss Is Western Foreign Policy Creating More Wars Than It Solves?

This thread covers all aspects of ideologies, including beliefs, principles, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture.
All the wars you take, that has ravaged the world altogether, has been for the interests of the West.

Vietnam, Iraq, Israel, Ukraine, world wars, cold war - everything!

I dont think for the west, it is a matter of policy, but a matter of habbit.

Old habbit donot young die.
Ukraine happened because Putin wanted to claim that country as Russia. Putin is a dictator that wants it all to himself and the Soviet Union. He wants nothing more than to bring communism back to Russia, regardless of the west.

This attitude was all predicted back in the 90s with the movie Air Force One.

I'm not sure if he wants Communism back.

Vietnam war!
More recent, Iraq war!
Even the Afghanistan war!
Vietnam was a mistake.

Iraq... questionable.

Afghanistan? Someone had to take out the nasty terrorists. The US seemed to have the biggest balls to do it.

But if you attack the sleeping giant, you deserve what you get. HAMAS is learning that now.

History shows that interventions often come with unintended consequences—sometimes solving one crisis while igniting another. True stability might come from diplomacy and collaboration rather than force. Maybe it’s time to rethink the role of global policing!

Vietnam wasn't a mistake considering what they knew at the time. I mean, the Soviet's had taken half Europe and China went red.

Maybe just the amount of time we stayed there. Or maybe not taking control.

We shouldn't have left Afghanistan. I think we're going to end up regretting that one in time.

I believe that Arab policy, unfortunately, will create more and then more conflicts, especially after the imposition of a policy of economic war such as tariffs, which will lead to more wars and Trump’s talk about Greenland and Canada, which will push for more inflation
