It's worth watching. The best two teams from the afc and nfc play against each other. So, generally if you love the NFL you'll enjoy the super bowl. Most people that aren't fans of football wouldn't enjoy the game.

The NFL dropped Colin years ago, it's not so political like it used to be. They play the game and go home. There isn't any hard hitting defense backs nomore though. They'll eject you from the game if you hit players too close to the chest or hips. You can't really hit someone close to the head anymore as it's an automatic ejection.

Football is becoming softer, but it's far from being too political. The superbowl isn't a joke, it's fantastic.
