Its been a while since I have been on a forum so forgive me if I am not adhering to etiquette by asking/suggesting this. You have Ideology Intersection - which is great, and you have Hollywood and Headlines - which is confusing.

Hollywood and Headlines suggests headlines, news, what's going on in the world, and some users are using it for that reason:

However, the section (is that what you call them?) description "Discuss the latest celebrity news, gossip, and trends in pop culture. Share your thoughts on what's making headlines." makes me think it's intended for entertainment news, not actual proper news. Did I get it wrong? Maybe a News and Current Affairs section would be a good idea. I would like to discuss what's going on in the world, such as the situation in Ukraine and the felon in the White House. I couldn't find any other section which would be the obvious destination, and it feels wrong to post about world affairs alongside what colour knickers Kathy Kardashian is wearing.

* New York state-convicted felon, not a federal felon. Makes a world of difference when using that word, as some don't know the difference between state felonies and federal felonies and how they differ when speaking of running the federal government.

Hollywood & Headlines is intended for entertainment news, pop culture, gossip, etc. (think TMZ), while Ideology Intersection is intended for current affairs, including political discourse. This is because the latter forum is hidden to guests (i.e., Google) that has a search engine algorithm bias where ROFLMAO may rank well with what you want to share, but penalize me for correcting you about "felon", for instance.

Hollywood & Headlines has been renamed to Hollywood Hype to better match its focus on celebrity news, gossip, and pop culture trends. Hollywood Hype was chosen so it can still be referenced as "HH" while reducing confusion with Ideology Intersection ("II").

Ideology Intersection remains the space to engage in discussions on religion and politics, exploring beliefs, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture. For political topics, the politics and global politics prefixes should be used. New prefix ideas are always welcome to better organize the section until there are enough topics in each to merit a separate child forum of Ideology Intersection.

The three referenced threads have been moved to the appropriate forum.

It makes absolutely no difference. A felon is a felon. A convicted criminal is a convicted criminal. Trump was convicted. That makes him a criminal. No amount of spin or clever word-play will change that.

But this is perhaps not the place to debate such things. I'll see you over there.
