When your living space is cluttered, it will have an adverse effect in your mental health. A tidy living space can boost your focus and peace. sadly, a lot of us are collecting a lot of things and cluttering our house. decluttering is important, how do you do it? Are you even doing it?
 
For me before l get out of the house for the normal daily activities l ensure that l have cleaned my house and the clothing is tidy. I understand that Clean environment relieves stress and eases the mind for sure.
 
I could not agree more with you that it is possible to get to the state that clutter attually influences our psychological conditions. The first step I take to enable me to declutter is by grouping the items into categories. Finally, I wonder if it is necessary to purchase the item that I have taken into the store. If not, I either donate them.
 
For me, decluttering is a process. So I don't do it all at once. I start by decluttering one place at a time. It could be my working place today, then my living room tomorrow. But I make an effort to stick to my plan.
What do you do with the things that you no longer need? Do you sell it in thrift store, give away to needy people or just dump in the dustbin. How do you determine which thing you need and which you don't

I have no qualms with your approach about tidiness and organization in fact I couldn’t agree more. I make sure it's less overwhelming by doing it bit by bit everyday or every two days until i accomplish what i wanted.
