A lot of us are ambitious, when we are ambitious, we don't find satisfaction in our life. Even when we achieve our ambition, we will set new ambition and continue to remain dissatisfied. How do you stay ambitious without sacrificing your satisfaction? How do you maintain your contentment while fulfilling your ambitions?

I'm in a position where I could walk away and be content for the rest of my life. However, contempt is not in my dictionary.

I am always striving to do better. I don't do it for me, but to be an example to my children, and to show them that the American Dream does exist, so that they strive to be better, in whatever form that may be to them.

Your perspective on life changes when you bring life into this world. I could be happy with how things are now without children and do whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do, but that is not a good example for children to look up to as they are an embodiment of you.

Sometimes I ask myself is is really necessary to achieve something, do I really have to reach that position, do I really need to have the things I desire. Sometimes we associate ambition with greed and achievement with contempt.

Not the same at all.

I exercise in front of my daughter to do good for myself, but also show her the importance of keeping healthy.

You can be content in many aspects of life, it doesn't necessarily mean the ambition or focus has to be on achieving a level or monetary success. That's why I added this part:
and to show them that the American Dream does exist, so that they strive to be better, in whatever form that may be to them.
To always set goals and achieve them.
