I've read that carbon monoxide poisoning was ruled out and they also found pills scattered around the floor. He was in his 90s, she was in her 60s.

I kind have wondered about murder-suicide as well.

The fact that the dog was also found dead makes the thing a little more complicated.

Why would they decide to commit suicide after murdering the dog? I wonder what sin did that poor pet commit in his/her life.
